CarnoSyn® Beta Alanine is a non-essential amino acid and is the only naturally occurring beta-amino acid. Many users experience intense vasodilatation/pumps from the very first dose of Beta-Alanine as it immediately increases carnosine, which is a powerful precursor in generating nitric oxide synthase. Carnosine is very important when it comes to performance for another reason though, it is a dipeptide found mainly in fast-twitch muscles whose primary function, is buffering hydrogen ions. Buffer hydrogen ions and you prevent pH levels in muscle from dropping to low levels (more acidic). Low acidity creates that "burn" in your muscles, causing fatigue and forcing you to muscular failure. In a more acidic environment ATP is less effective and the release of calcium, a key component to muscle contraction, is reduced substantially. With higher carnosine levels in muscle, you can prevent the drop in pH. With hydrogen ions buffered, you can get more reps at the gym, go longer and harder when performing high intensity aerobic or anaerobic exercise and lift heavier weights for more reps. As carnosine is not absorbed effectively in humans Beta-Alanine is the most effective source available.
Betaine Anhydrous is a nutrient known as a methyl donor, this means that Betaine carries and donates methyl molecules in the body to help make chemical processes work. Donation of methyl molecules is involved in proper liver function and cellular reproduction. Tri-Creatine Malate is a compound made from Creatine Monohydrate and Malic Acid. The substance is so named because the compound is made from three Creatine molecules attached to one molecule of Malic Acid. Creatine Monohydrate, one of the substances that form the compound Tri-Creatine Malate, is derived from Glycine, Arginine and Methionine and helps to produce and circulate ATP - adenosine tri-phosphate - that is responsible for muscular contraction. Malic Acid is involved in the Krebs energy cycle as an intermediate substance, and helps to provide energy to the body. When Malic Acid and Creatine Monohydrate form the compound Tri-Creatine Malate, the resulting product is more water-soluble than regular Creatine Monohydrate, eliminates the possibility of gastric disruption, and is more efficient at efficaciously impacting the ATP cycle. Furthermore, Tri-Creatine Malate is believed to offer greater bioavailability over regular Creatine Monohydrate
Creatine AKG is Creatine that has been bound to the AKG molecule. Since AKG is a Krebs cycle intermediate it can easily enter muscle cells, bringing with it more Creatine directly into targeted cells (i.e., your muscles). The Krebs cycle is a series of chemical reactions that take place in living cells and is involved in oxidative metabolism (energy production). The Krebs cycle occurs in the mitochondria of cells. And guess what? More mitochondria are found in cells that expend a significant amount of energy, like muscle cells. Therefore, AKG acts as a transporter of Creatine to bring more Creatine into the targeted muscle cells. As already explained, Creatine-AKG transports more Creatine directly into muscle cells and this results in a higher muscular Creatine concentration. With a higher Creatine concentration in the muscle, strength and power performance is significantly enhanced.
This means more reps and heavier weights in the gym, which can quickly translate into greater muscle growth. Also, with more Creatine being shuttled directly into muscle cells, more water is pulled inside cells eliminating the Creatine bloat. This is a benefit because it can trigger an immediate anabolic response, whereby muscle cells quickly expand due to the influx of water (cell volumization), and protein synthesis is stimulated (new muscle fiber growth) to fill up the intracellular space. This is a fascinating process and the key to Creatine-AKG's powerful muscle building effects. Another benefit of Creatine-AKG is that it doesn't cause transporter downgrade. Regular Creatine requires a Creatine transporter protein (CreaT) for its uptake into muscle cells. However, since Creatine-AKG uses AKG as a transporter, Creatine transporter downgrade is a non-issue.
