The past week of prep has had, of course, its pros and cons!
I can safely say diet has been PERFECT!! woohoo!!!! Training is going very well. I did have to take a day off the gym on Sunday due to working 7am-7pm then having an hour of posing practice 8-9. I could have done a very late workout, but I decided that since I almost NEVER take a day off I deserved some time to "sleep in" and get a normal sleep (6 hours lol) and go out that night for Canada Day! SInce starting prep I have had basically zero social life. It is something I am mostly completely OK with, but I decided I need to make an effort every once in a while to get out and see friends. Which I did that night! It all worked out great! Posing practice was fun and productive and it was nice to wander around town seeing people, watching fire works and relaxing!
On the Friday I went out for supper with my parents. It is the first time I have gone out to a restaurant to eat this prep. We went out to Earl's and I ended up getting their salmon meal. I got my salmon and veggies no butter, sauce or oil, then substituted a salad for the brown rice side. It was deeeeelicious!!! I was comfortable eating out at this specific place due to my brothers girlfriend working there and serving us. She has competed numerous times herself and knew exactly how to modified all the foods for me to be able to eat as well as confirm with the kitchen that they actuall abided by those modifications! I am paranoid when eating out dieting in case the requests I have are not followed and I don't notice. Nothing worse than not even knowing you are cheating on your diet!
At posing practice on Sunday I was happily surprised at how big and lean I am looking!! As has been consistent this prep, everything is progressing very well and I am very excited to see the results I am capable of! Now its time to get myself organized and book my flight, hotel, and all the details associated with my show!
