The WBFF stage is really starting to feel like a reality now! I am officially registered, flight booked, place to stay set! Now I just need to decide if and what photoshoots I want to book and details on the making of my suit!
Feeling depleted is gradually increasing its effect on me! I'm teetering on that edge of my schedule and diet being TOO MUCH. Days when I'm not getting enough sleep or going a bit too long without a meal are creating me to be purely physically exhausted. My workouts after my 12 hour shifts have been EXTREMELY mentally difficult to push myself but so far I have been able to give myself that mental push I need to do beneficial cardio/weights at those points!
This weekend I had my "summer holidays" if you will and headed out to my cottage for the weekend. I had initially intended on having a "girls weekend" which with no one being available or becoming unavailable ended up being 3 of us girls until Saturday afternoon and then me and my pup solo until Sunday afternoon. It was AMAZING to get away and really relax and recouperate. It was definitely something I needed mentally and physically. Saturday morning the girls and I were up bright and early and went for a 0730 run! 4 miles went by so fast having things to chat about then we ate meal 1 and headed to the beach for the entire day! I packed a couple meals in a cooler and got to lay on a blanket, suntan, swim, chill with my dog all day! I was going to do a cabin workout with some of the weight equipment I have in the garage there but since the day was about 35 celcius the garage was even hotter than that! So Saturday became a day off of weights!
The next morning was cooler and cloudier. I went for a long run in the morning with my boy, Sabbath, and then RELAXED the rest of the afternoon in our breezeway playing solitaire, reading and watching hummingbirds come by our feeders. I drove into the city that afternoon to do my weights and have an assessment then posing practice! Assessment I was down over 2% body fat since the last assessment three weeks prior and we tightened up my diet somewhat by adding in another low carb day into my cycle creating a 3:1 low carb to moderate carb ratio. We shall see how this treats me now!
At posing practice I realized I really need to start practicing my t-walk for WBFF Worlds, so that now means its time to start strutting it out in a bikini in my gym's aerobics room! Hoping a few other WBFF hotties want to join so I'm not the only one being gawked at! lol! Alright enough of this marathon blog! Until next week coolios! :)
