Another week has passed in the countdown to WBFF Worlds! I am now 12 weeks out and I am starting to see myself leaning out, which is exciting! I had an assessment with my trainers at Contestprep.com this past week and I am now down almost 2.5% body fat from my off season assessment, as well as being down over an inch in many areas. Some of my workout shorts now fit that didn't in off season! Yay!!
I can officially say that I was 100% ON DIET this past week. Not one lick or taste of something I wasn't supposed to eat!! Was I tempted? OF COURSE! Was it hard to resist? Nahhhh!! Success and being on track 100% feels awesome! I don't need the guilt of cheating on my diet whatsoever!!!
The only issue I had with my diet is there were a few times things got busy at work and I went a little too long without eating. A couple of times it was about 4 hours! Solution: I need to have an emergency shake on hand at all times so whatever I am stuck doing at work I can down some delish Quattro goodness to sustain me! Near the end of the week I "ran out" of prepped food, which made it more difficult to plan my days off on the go and took up more prep time than I'd like, prepping one day at a time. Solution: Need to stay organized and on top of prep! Starting tomorrow there WILL be a grocery shopping spree and food prep carnage going on in my kitchen!
Gym sessions have still been amazing. Absolutely killing it in the gym. My past two back days have been insane. New personal best on deads, 5 x 205lbs. Although my cardio intensity needs to be improved on. Every time I'm on the stair mill or arc trainer I work hard, but I really need to start throwing in more interval training when I use the treadmill!
The only "fail" I had this week was forgetting my back of vitamins and supps at home so I missed about half a day of those. Made up for it by working them into the next day and got to remember to pack them when I am leaving my house! For all of you reading this who are prepping for the same show as I am! KEEP MOTIVATED and KILL EACH DAY! For those of you who are just following along as pure interest I give the same advice, just in a more balanced way! ;)
Later duders! :)
